Personnel Repair Bumpy Road on Johar Baru

Johar Baru Sub-district Bina Marga Unit dismantled bumpy road on Jl. Percetakan Negara I, Johar Baru Urban Village, Johar Baru Urban Village, Johar Baru Sub-district, Central Jakarta. The road was bumpy due to tree roots that propagate and damage the road structure.

Johar Baru Bina Marga Unit Head, Brahmaweni conveyed, the road surface had risen 15 centimeters due to tree roots. Therefore, his side immediately dismantled the road because it could endanger road users.

Ten Heavy Equipment Deployed to Dredge Munjul Reservoir

"We collaborate with Johar Baru Sub-district City Park and Forestry Unit for tree pruning. Today, we start to dismantle the road," he mentioned, Monday (10/4).

According to him, after leveling the road or pruning the trees, his side will patch the road using cold mix asphalt.

"The size of bumpy road is 2.2 meters long and 1.2 meters wide. It takes about 3 hours to dismantle the road. The day after tomorrow, we will continue to patch the road," he explained.

He informed, road repair and tree pruning were carried out to follow up personnel's monitoring on the field and report from residents who felt disturbed when crossing the road.
